FAQ
DO YOU TAKE INSURANCE?
-
No. My practice is fee-for-service, which means that my patients pay me directly. Many of my patients choose to submit "super-bills" to their insurance for reimbursement (check with your insurance about whether you have out-of-network coverage for mental health care).
WHAT ARE YOUR FEES?
-
Fees range from $175 - $225 depending on session length. Flexible fees may be available for individuals seeking psychoanalytic therapy (more than one session per week) and psychoanalysis.
ARE YOU CURRENTLY SEEING PATIENTS IN PERSON?
-
Yes. Full vaccination for COVID-19 (including one booster) and masks are required for in-person sessions.
ARE YOU OFFERING VIRTUAL VISITS?
-
Yes, virtual visits are currently an option for most patients, although some in-person sessions may be required depending on the type of treatment I am providing. I use a secure, HIPAA-compliant video visit platform.
ARE THERE ANY MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES THAT YOU DO NOT TREAT? Yes. My practice is not equipped to manage the following:
-
Individuals with very severe mental illness who require a comprehensive treatment team (e.g. case management)
-
Individuals treated with injectable medications
-
Court-ordered evaluations/treatment
-
Evaluations for disability or custody
